After Jenny’s devastating loss in the Tremorton High talent show, I thought you could use a bit of good news. So I wanted to make sure that you’d heard about the first commercially produced Teenage Robot figures by Youtooz.

I’m so excited that they’ve created a Hot Rod Jenny version!!! Both versions are available starting today, April 16.  

The next chapter of the new Teenage Robot story will be arriving soon. I’ve been a bit waylaid by real world stuff and the writing of the third book in the Horrible Bag series. In animation, we often “card out” the stories as we are figuring them out and, for the first time, I did that for my book writing. 

I was getting lost in all the details and needed to pull back and figure out how to cut 20% of what I’d written in the last draft to get my word count down to what my publisher will allow. Summarizing the story in card form really helps you get a sense of the big picture. It also shows you where you are spending too much time. After a few passes through the manuscript I was able to trim the word count without hurting the story. In fact, it's much improved. I very proud of the whole trilogy and hope you will give it a read.
